For this lesson we spent a large portion of the lesson discussing the aria competition, what we think went right and what didn't go as good. What we need to work on coming up for my recital. We did our regular vocal warm ups. Followed by going over the French in Aurore!
We took it sentence by sentence just reading it, then in a sing song voice, followed by lip trilling on the pitches. Then lastly, we put the words to the music. Overall it went really good, breaking it down and going about it step by step really helped as I am just learning it,
That was the main focus of our lesson this week. It was a long week so I appreciated Maribeth being willing to have a slower paced lesson.
